    The highly qualified Deputy Clerk we seek:

    • Performs a variety of clerical duties which can be basic filing to specialized clerical duties depending on Division assignment. For instance, clerical duties related to the processing and maintenance of records and associated payment of fees/fines to include court costs, traffic fines, and child support.
    • Receive incoming telephone calls and provide routine information upon request. Flexibility to work a schedule based on the needs of the court, including evenings, weekends and holidays, is necessary for some Division assignments.
    • Interview and interact with customers in person or face to face is required in many areas.

    Requirements for a Deputy Clerk:

    Required:

    • A high school diploma or equivalent
    • One (1) year general office experience and effective verbal and written communication skills

    Computer Equipment and Software Requirements:

    • The position requires the ability to work with a personal computer in a Windows environment.
    • The ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheet and e-mail applications is necessary.
    • Use of specified computer applications to include case management and data entry programs may be required.
    • Operate a variety of office equipment, including, but not limited to, computer keyboard, scanning equipment, printer, fax machine, copying machine, telephones, etc.
