OVERVIEW
The Distribution Manager directs and oversees the distribution, logistics, and warehouse departments. This position develops logistics plans and procedures to ensure that internal and customer needs are met; creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the warehouse and logistics teams; develops policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
· Constantly evaluate warehouse process and procedures.
· Ensure goals and objectives are clear and two-way communication is established and effective.
· Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
· Develop and maintain distribution center operations business plans to include all programs, P&L and customer requirements.
· Direct communication and coordination of timely product receipt, product organization, capacity and storage of product in warehouse.
· Direct and implement a plan to reduce property or financial losses.
· Accountable to drive the financial performance of the site by ensuring that budgeted productivity, labor, and other expenses are achieved.
· Plan, direct, and is accountable for all warehouse operations including, deliveries, shipping, receiving, order processing, inventory and auditing.
· Implement and monitor Human Resource compliance, asset protection, safety controls, overseeing the safety of our people and products, operational and quality assurance reviews.
· Implement and enforce warehouse and logistics operation systems that create more efficiencies.
· Works closely with the Logistics and Warehouse teams to determine the best practice for product handling and storage requirements.
· Responsible for identifying problem areas and procedural deficiencies relating to stock shortages.
· Ensure appropriate training is initiated and completed for all warehouse employees to support the team.
· Provide feedback and drive accountability throughout the organization

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse, inventory and logistics management.
• Working knowledge of ERP and Warehouse Management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills, with ability to convey ideas clearly.
Salary Range
$100K - $120K annually, depending on experience
