Being a Dispatcher records driver assignments, delivery time, and other transportation data in a computer database to track metrics. Ensures drivers are compliant with all DOT, state, local, and company regulations. Additionally, Dispatcher requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Dispatcher works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To be a Dispatcher typically requires 1-3 years of related experience. OVERVIEW/PURPOSE:
ATS Trans LLC (ATS) is the foremost transportation service in the Puget Sound, WA area, serving those with special needs, as well as customers seeking point-to-point driver services.
The Dispatcher is responsible for assigning trips to drivers and providing logistical assistance as needed in order to ensure each trip is completed timely, efficiently and with the highest degree of customer service.
