Overview: We are currently seeking a Dispatcher to join our team in . As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing transportation logistics. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to analyze and solve problems efficiently. Experience in fleet management and transportation management is highly desirable. Responsibilities: - Coordinate and schedule transportation activities, including assigning drivers and vehicles for deliveries - Communicate with drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods - Utilize transportation management software, such as Oracle Transportation Management, to track shipments and monitor progress - Analyze delivery routes and make adjustments as needed to optimize efficiency - Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns related to transportation services - Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including driver logs, delivery schedules, and customer information - Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and operations, to ensure smooth coordination of transportation activities Requirements: - Previous experience in dispatching or logistics, preferably in a 3PL or logistics environment - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills - Proficiency in using transportation management software or similar tools - Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions - Typing proficiency for data entry tasks - Familiarity with fleet management principles and practices - Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards We offer competitive compensation packages and opportunities for career growth within our organization. Pay: $45,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
