Foodland IGA, in downtown Juneau is seeking a skilled Deli Manager to oversee our deli operations and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and customer satisfaction, along with experience in kitchen management and team leadership.

Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day deli operations, including food preparation, serving, and inventory management

- Ensure high-quality food production and presentation standards are met

- Train, supervise, and schedule deli staff of 20 people

- Conduct interviews, hire new employees, and provide ongoing training

- Implement and maintain food safety standards and sanitation regulations

- Monitor and control operational costs to maximize profitability

- Develop and implement strategies to increase deli sales and customer satisfaction

Experience:

- Proven experience in kitchen management, restaurant management, or similar roles

- Strong knowledge of deli products and food handling procedures

- Experience in team management, shift management, and customer service

- Familiarity with food production processes and culinary techniques

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
