Job Description:
Reporting to the Director of Finance/Cost Accounting/Decision Support and under general supervision, develops and maintains cost accounting and data analytics functions; conducts financial, statistical, and analytical studies; prepares and assists in the preparation of financial analysis. Develops data analytics dashboards to enhance the cost accounting and data analytics process for the cost accounting team and other customers; and performs related duties as required. Creates and interprets complex financial analysis and reports, aiding management in making strategic decisions. Completes various analytical tasks, including budgeting, business plan development, service line reporting, revenue analysis, and various ad hoc projects. Possess a solid understanding of financial and clinical data from multiple sources, along with the ability to synthesize information for effective organizational planning. Functions as a bridge between Finance, Administration, and Operations, ensuring smooth communication across these departments. Acts as an expert in Decision Support and Cost Accounting, have a thorough knowledge of financial systems, and patient data sources, contributing to strategic discussions and decisions. Develops and maintains dashboards for use in monthly, quarterly and annual cost accounting reconciliations, analysis, and reporting. Performs monthly financial statement reporting and analysis and assists in the annual capital and operational budget process
