Responsibilities
· Database Management
- Maintain and update the battery database, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Implement and optimize database structures for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Regularly perform data quality checks and resolve any inconsistencies.
· Data Entry Application Development
- Update code for the data entry GUI application to support evolving research needs.
- Assist in troubleshooting and debugging code issues.
- Development of scripts and tools for data processing and analysis.
· Documentation
- Create and maintain documentation for database processes, structures, and code implementations.
- Provide clear and concise documentation for any code developed during the internship.
· Collaboration
- Work closely with battery R&D team to understand data requirements and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes.
Qualifications
· Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Proficient in Python programming language.
· Familiarity with database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL queries.
· Basic understanding of software development practices and version control (Git).
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
