Responsible for directing and allocating work to staff, as well as monitoring and evaluating their work. Being a Data Entry Supervisor typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Data Entry Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. We are looking for a highly skilled Data Entry clerk. This person will be required to work in multiple systems and be proficient on different softwares.
Job Responsibilities Of a Data Entry Clerk May Include- Entering and updating information into relevant databases
- Ensuring data is backed up
- Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered
- Checking completed data entries for mistakes or inaccuracies
- Creating data backups
- Transcribing documents
- Testing new database systems and software updates
- Storing hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval
- Handling additional duties from time to time.
Qualifications and skills typically required for this role are:- Excellent computer and typing skills
- Detailed oriented
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently
- Good understanding of data confidentiality principles
- Familiarity with MS Office and data entry software.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
