Customer Insights Analyst analyzes customer and consumer data and research to identify trends, key indicators, patterns, and insights. Assists in developing and conducting focus groups, surveys, competitor intelligence studies, and industry research to support product development, category/brand management and marketing or sales initiatives. Being a Customer Insights Analyst uses market research and statistical methodologies and tools to perform analysis. Performs data collection, input, and aggregation processes to develop and maintain research databases. Additionally, Customer Insights Analyst requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Customer Insights Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Overview
Generate data-driven insights and leads client’s thinking in how to action/profit from those insights. The Analyst will be responsible for providing actionable analysis of internal and external data sources for our key national customers and be deeply involved in the sales planning process.

Qualifications
Education/Experience: 2 years’ experience in analyzing and interpreting data and delivering actionable insights with strategic thinking; Relevant experience within the CPG Industry preferred; Experience working with sales and/or customer development including channel development, merchandising and trade relations preferred; Must have prior work experience in data analysis and systems and demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of the technology involved to operate these systems.

Computer Skills: : Proficient in MS Office; Excel and ability to build dashboards using Power BI and other market data tools (IRI)
