Contracts Administration Director is responsible for all activities in the organization's contracts administration function. Oversees the preparation of proposals, negotiations, and the administration of contracts that follow company policies and legal requirements. Being a Contracts Administration Director directs and develops policies and processes that govern the contract administration staff and provide guidance on contract terms and the assessment of contract proposals. Has deep knowledge of the contract life cycle, types of contracts, and applicable government regulations. Additionally, Contracts Administration Director leads negotiations for complex or high-value contracts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Sometimes requires certification like the NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM). Typically reports to senior management. The Contracts Administration Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Your Opportunity:
As TechSource’s Deputy Director for Contracts & Procurement you will directly support the Director, Contracts & Procurement in leading a team of motivated and knowledgeable contract administrators. You will also be the company’s second in command subject matter expert and point of contact for all contracts and related agreements including, but not limited to Department of Energy (DOE)/National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Department of Defense (DoD), industry partner contracts, as well as subcontracts. In this role you will lead and manage contract negotiation, analysis, and administration; prepare proposals; and provide customer service related to contract acquisition and fulfillment. Within this scope, you will ensure compliance with contract stipulations, track contract performance, and interpret contract requirements. Furthermore, you will mentor, train, and develop the Contracts Department staff. Ideally, you will live and work in Albuquerque, NM. However, remote work arrangements may be considered.
