Join our dynamic team at Embrace® Education as a Medicaid Strategy Consultant and play a pivotal role in improving Medicaid reimbursement for school districts.
As a Medicaid Strategy Consultant, you will have the opportunity to directly impact the financial well-being of school districts by communicating Medicaid policies and procedures to district leaders and providing insightful analysis of district claims. Your expertise will drive strategies for optimizing reimbursement and closing gaps in data collection, ensuring that districts can maximize their Medicaid funding.
In this role, you will serve as a liaison between school districts and state/federal educational and Medicaid agencies, clarifying rules and regulations while staying abreast of the latest policies and procedures. You will collaborate with professional organizations to advance Embrace® initiatives and contribute to enhanced education and Medicaid outcomes for children and schools.
As a Medicaid Strategy Consultant, you will also have the opportunity to conduct on-site and webinar training sessions, empowering school district personnel with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the Medicaid reimbursement process effectively.
Additionally, you will create informative client newsletters and communications to keep stakeholders informed and engaged, review annual Medicaid trends, and identify areas for improvement.
Job Responsibilities
Communicate with school district leaders to help them understand Medicaid policies and procedures.
Provide analysis of district claims and present district leadership with strategies for improving reimbursement.
Determine gaps in data collection and help districts institute initiatives to better collect data.
Communicate with state and federal education and Medicaid agencies to clarify rules and regulations, and obtain up-to-date policies and procedures.
Review and analyze submission and rejection trends year to year.
Create client newsletters and communications.
Provide on-site and/or webinar training.
Work with professional organizations to further Embrace® initiatives and enhance education and Medicaid outcomes for children and schools.
Provide guidance and insight into system functionality and enhancements.
