Compensation Director is responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the organization's compensation programs, including base pay, incentive pay, and performance management programs. Leads the compensation function and works with senior management to ensure that compensation strategy and programs support the organization's business objectives, meet all legal requirements, and deliver value and equitable pay. Being a Compensation Director develops compensation budget for assigned areas and manages budget after it is approved. Establishes data collection and analysis processes for market, pay equity, and other compensation studies. Additionally, Compensation Director may be responsible for entire organization or for one or more major segments of a larger organization. Requires a bachelor's degree. May require a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. JOB SUMMARY:
Phi Sigma Rho Sorority is seeking to place a full-time house director at Purdue University by August 1, 2024. The house director will be provided with a private bathroom, bedroom, and living room. The house director will also be provided with a private parking space. The facility sleeps 64 members. The house director provides direct oversight of facility cleaning and maintenance services and works with a kitchen management company to coordinate food services for the chapter house. The primary duty of the House Director is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the physical premises of the chapter house. The House Director is expected to utilize appropriate levels of independent judgment and discretion in the execution of her job duties while maintaining communication with the Corporation Board. The House Director must have strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude. The House Director will also help to ensure the safety and welfare of the sorority's collegiate live-in and live-out members. The position requires strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented approach. The ability to quickly identify problems and develop and timely implement solutions is also expected. The House Director is required to reside in the chapter house while members are present.
