In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients, assessing their financial needs, and structuring tailored loan solutions.

    Branch location for this position: 2231 E Camelback Rd. Suite 107.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Examines, evaluates and recommends/authorizes approval of customer applications for commercial credit loans by obtaining required information/documentation.
    • Reviews and analyzes title report or survey to determine issues and any present or potential risk.
    • Negotiates contracts in a way that is mutually beneficial for FIBT and the customer.
    • Ensures customer understands conditions and terms of account.
    • Reviews delinquent account records to determine appropriate action.
    • Demonstrates a desire to successfully serve the customers’ needs while creating value for the customer and FIBT.
    • Compiles appropriate documentation to ensure that FIBT is properly protected.
    • Deep understanding of market conditions for loans (interest rates, advance rates, financial covenants and reporting).
    • Maintain an active list of potential new customers as well as a pipeline of new business activity.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; two years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
    • Accounting or economic background is preferred.
    • Proven experience in commercial lending with a focus on relationship building.
    • Strong understanding of financial analysis, risk assessment, and loan structuring.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
