Commercial Loan Manager manages a team of commercial loan officers to build commercial loan business within a designated market. Provides operational guidance to loan officers and approves requests for loans beyond the officers' approval limits. Being a Commercial Loan Manager may personally handle the most complex loans and most difficult credit approvals. Adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal risk and operating policies and procedures. Additionally, Commercial Loan Manager builds a high-performance lending team with individual mentoring, coaching, and professional development opportunities. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Commercial Loan Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Commercial Loan Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Responsibilities:

    • Sales & Business Development:
    • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan.
    • Identify and target potential customers.
    • Conduct market research and build a robust sales pipeline.
    • Collaborate with the RVP and marketing team on promotional strategies.
    • Conduct product demonstrations on-site.
    • Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, and industry influencers.
    • Provide exceptional customer service and conduct regular meetings and training sessions.
    • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services.
    • Sales Performance & Reporting:
    • Meet and exceed sales targets.
    • Track activities and prepare sales reports using HubSpot CRM.
    • Monitor market trends and competitor activities for growth opportunities.

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
    • 2-5 years of proven B2B territory sales experience, preferably in the commercial vehicle industry.
    • Strong entrepreneurial drive and sales territory development skills.
    • Knowledge of, or willingness to learn about, commercial vehicles and industry trends.
    • Experience selling to industries like assisted living, skilled nursing, hospitality, and tour/charter operators.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
    • Proficiency with CRM software, MS Office, MS Teams, and Zoom.
    • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.


    Physical Requirements:

    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 pounds.
