Clinical Outcomes Director directs in-depth analysis of clinical outcomes data to develop clinical process improvement initiatives. Oversees and leads staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of clinical program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Director creates, defines, and implements performance metrics to review program effectiveness. Evaluates patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Director identifies opportunities and provides recommendations to improve program delivery, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to senior management. The Clinical Outcomes Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Clinical Outcomes Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. This Community Medical Center is part of a Large, Well-Respected Health System and has all essential Hospital and Emergency Care technology as well as a full range of Outpatient Services. The Senior Director Physician Practices of will be key in the continuance of High Quality Care throughout the Ambulatory Clinics.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this Senior Director will support all Clinical Operations. They will have a close working relationship with the Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Financial Officer to ensure that the Clinical Operations stay in line with the Hospital Operations and Standards. They will oversee all Clinical staff including physicians, nurses, techs, and support staff.
The Senior Director of Physician Practices will oversee staffing, budgeting, and maintain a good working relationship with the different departmental managers to ensure that Physician and Patient needs are met. They will be responsible for performance evaluations and oversee compliance within the Clinic. The ideal candidate will have experience in Rural Healthcare and a Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare, or Public Health.
