Supervises inspections of aging or compromised structures and improvement projects. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Requires Professional Engineer License (PE). As a Principal in our Civil/Site group, you'll lead the process of bringing site development projects to life. You will be responsible for business development, client management, and overseeing Project Managers, including oversight of technical and financial aspects of projects. We have openings and needs for Principals across multiple industries, including manufacturing and renewable energy, commercial and industrial land development, and oil and gas development. You will represent the company at conferences and in client meetings to secure and coordinate work. You will work closely with other CEC professionals locally and across the country to develop opportunities and build business relationships, apply best practices to address client needs, conduct technical reviews of client deliverables, and provide mentorship and oversight to Project Managers and supporting staff.
Your day-to-day activities will include strengthening relationships with our existing clients and industry partners, as well as developing new relationships to help grow our civil/site portfolio both locally and regionally. You will guide the internal team and external stakeholders through regulatory processes, provide construction deliverables and support, and ensure the financial success and technical excellence of your projects by mentoring a team of Project Managers and junior engineers. Your influence throughout the entire project will guide a team of experienced engineers as they successfully deliver complex and multi-faceted projects on time and on budget for our clients.
