Additionally, Chemical Technician sets up and maintains lab equipment. Records and tabulates data and documents observations and results. Requires an associate degree in chemistry, science or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Chemical Technician works under moderate supervision. This position will be part of a manufacturing support team that refines precious metals and fabricates gold & non-gold alloys into sheets & grains. This team also monitors and controls plating chemical quality and provides environmental support for our wastewater treatment program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and laboratory work but would also help with the refining and metal fabrication tasks.
