About the position:

• The RN Unit Manager Promotes the mission and values of Vernon Green Nursing Home and its Nursing Department
• Oversees and assists with documentation, i.e.: summaries, monthly M.D. orders, Medex reviews, and nurse's notes.
• Provides supervision, instruction and teaching to the other nursing staff as needed to carry out high quality nursing care.
• Admits, transfers, and discharges residents, completing all the necessary paperwork.
• Communicates with the M.D. both by phone and in person during physicians' visits regarding the current status of residents.
• Participates in the Infection Control, & Quality Assessment and Assurance programs for the facility
• Other functions as required.

Starting Pay: $32.20-$40.00 per hour based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.20 - $40.00 per hour
