    Seeking a highly experienced Facility Operations Lead with a strong background in operations and maintenance. The ideal candidate must have excellent leadership skills and a proven track record in supervisory roles.

    Requirements

    • Must have 2 years of experience as an Operations & Maintenance Specialist or completed an apprenticeship program.
    • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in facilities operations, maintenance, or a related field.
    • In-depth knowledge of maintenance fundamentals and trades such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
    • Proficiency in managing teams, problem-solving, and decision-making.
    • Familiarity with OSHA codes and regulations.
    • Working knowledge of Metasys (BMS) and low voltage control systems.
    • Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
    • Universal EPA Refrigeration Certification required.
    • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise and guide facilities technicians, assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback.
    • Coordinate and prioritize work orders to ensure timely completion and efficient resource utilization.
    • Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and address issues promptly.
    • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan.
    • Perform repairs and maintenance on various systems including HVAC, Boilers, Chillers, Pumps, electrical systems, fire alarm systems, security systems, and building automation systems.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safety culture within the team.
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment repairs, and inventory.
    • Collaborate with external contractors for maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and new technologies.
    • Provide direction and training to junior team members.
    • Plan and select materials for service, repair, and preventive maintenance work.
