Central Office Equipment Technician jobs in West Virginia
Central Office Equipment Technician installs, repairs and maintains office machinery and equipment. Performs preventative maintenance, replaces parts , and updates software. Being a Central Office Equipment Technician documents maintenance and service cycles of the office devices. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Central Office Equipment Technician may be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Central Office Equipment Technician may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. - 2 or more years of experience related to repairing and maintaining heavy equipment, diesel engines, or heavy trucks is required.
- Previous experience with paving, crushing, and/or roadbuilding equipment is required.
- Experience as a heavy equipment mobile mechanic/technician, aka Field Service Technician, is preferred.
- Previous experience with Wirtgen, Hamm, Vogele, Kleeman, Roadtec, Bomag, Dynapac, Weiler, Aztec is highly preferred.
- John Deere experience is a plus.
- Tools as required of a typical diesel technician.
