Cementing and Gluing Machine Operator jobs in Hawaii

Our company is looking for a focused and industrious candidate to fill a vacant Wet-End Machine Operator position.

The following skills are to be learned during first year as a Hawaiian Springs Operator Employee. This position requires operations and mechanical mastery of the Wet room Operations area. Mastery of the wet room operation and machinery must include the ability to make adjustments (fine tuning) of the change parts to meet equipment set-up time standard of 2 hours for each packaging change. Operations mastery will take a minimum of 12 months.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate Posimat/Silo/Conveyor system.
• Remove/Install and fine tune change parts for Posimat.
• Operate, adjust, fine tune air conveyors.
• Operate rinser, filler capper. Meet production standards bottles per minute.
• Identify required change parts.
• Remove/Install and fine tune bottle change parts.
• Set water flow and filler settings.
• Operate cap blower system. Make fine tune adjustments for air flow and cap unscramble settings.
• Adjust cap chucks for proper torque as needed.
• Monitor HACCP Critical Control Points (UV and O3). Stop production when out of standard.
• Monitor Bottle/Cap quality. Set Fil-Tech bottle checker up for all sizes.
• Operate Trine Label system.
• Identify all change parts
• Remove and install change parts
• Fine tune labeler to meet quality standards.
• Operate Laser code date system.
• Start-up and shut down.
• Set cap height and focal point for all bottle sizes.
• Mechanical mastery will be when individual can repair all parts associated with the Wet Room machinery.

· Maintain wet-end department records.

Physical Requirements
Standing or sitting for a long period of time.
Requires some bending, lifting, some weight as much as 50lbs.

Requirements:
Transportation is a must.
Well groomed, covered shoes at all times, shorts and company uniform.
Have a friendly and professional attitude at all times.
