Summary
This position is responsible for managing multiple accounts with on-line banking for not-for-profit organization managing skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Perform daily cash flow review, to maintain adequate cash balances to meet payment obligations in each affiliate. Oversee security and lifecare deposits. All responsibilities will be conducted in a manner that exhibits the BHCS mission, vision, and core values.
Essential Job Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.- Track daily deposits by payer type from accounts receivable department
- Review outgoing cash flow requirements for payroll and accounts payable
- Assure that funds are available to cover weekly accounts payable transactions
- Monthly account reconciliations to the general ledger
- Reconcile corporate credit cards and automatic payments from accounts
- Work closely with finance team to ensure proper cash management
- Post incoming and outgoing wire transfers and monitors ACA activities and positive pay
- Monitor cash transactions and investigate any unusual items.
- Maintain policies and procedures to ensure business requirements are met with regard to corporate structure and affiliates
- Must be able to read, write and speak English effectively and communicate written and verbally.
- Performs all job responsibilities in accordance with safety and infection control policies and procedures.
- All responsibilities will be conducted in a manner that exhibits the BHCS mission, vision, and core values.
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Requires 1-3 years’ experience in Finance or Accounting
- Familiarity with bank cash management
- Working Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with both nternal and external accountants and senior management
