Free by the Sea is a family owned and operated Substance Use Disorder Treatment facility with co-occurring Mental Health treatment as clinically appropriate. Our mission at Free by the Sea is to offer alcohol and substance addicted individuals the opportunity of a life free from addiction. We are located in SW Washington on the Long Beach Peninsula with the ocean as our backyard. This community is an amazing place to live and eventually retire!

~What you’ll do~

• Individual and group sessions
• Attend and participate in weekly clinical staffing
• Create a welcoming and supportive environment where patients feel safe to express themselves
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each client
• Conduct mental health screenings, diagnosis, and assessments

~What qualifications you need~

• Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work or the equivalent.
• Valid Washington State LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT license or the ability to obtain a probationary license via reciprocity.
• Commitment to cultural competency and diversity.
• A passion for the recovery community.
  
  

~What we offer~

• Salary range $65,000 to $100,000 plus, as negotiated
• Employer paid insurance including medical, dental, vision, prescription for you and your dependent children
• 12 paid mental health days
• 120 hours of paid vacation
• Up to 9 paid holidays and 2 floating holidays
• Up to 5 bereavement days
• Optional Aflac

~Where will you live?~

No need to stress! Free by the Sea used to be a resort. There is a private room available for you for up to 6 months rent-free while you are making your transition.

~What about food?~

Free by the Sea provides our patients 3 meals each day and our staff receives one meal per shift. Your room has a kitchenette, but, while you live onsite, your daily meals will be provided for you.
