Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture jobs in Tennessee

In the TV Production Department as a Graphics Operator, you will have the unique opportunity of being a part of a live, 24/7, studio environment and will gain insight to the Live Show and gain better understanding of how each area plays a part in the overall vision of the programming. This is a role that requires a strong multi-tasker with good communication skills and a keen ability to react quickly in an ever-changing environment. The Graphics Operator must have solid technical skills and excellent dependability, as well as a willingness to adapt to the needs of the live show.

Day in the Life:

Execute live show content as determined by the producing team during pre-production utilizing Ross On Air Graphic systems, adjusting when necessary
Complete pre-production tasks for assigned show blocks and build any necessary show descriptions for live show
Run multiple pedestal HD Cameras in live studio environment or multiple remote PTZ cameras from control room
Run Harris Nexio file systems pulling up recorded items for live show presentations on air.
Mix Audio for live on air presentation
Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

Strong organization skills

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to partner and work effectively with colleagues
Ability to catch any errors and fixing before going live
Strong listening and interpretation skills
Strong technical knowledge of graphics operating systems
Can type 40 words a minute
Lifting, pulling or pushing items over 25 lbs.
Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time

Nice to Have (but not required):

1-2 years of live television Camera/Control room experience
Experience with Panasonic PTZ remote cameras and remote camera controllers
Experience with Ikegami/Hitachi HD Camera operations
Experience with Harris Nexio file systems
Experience with Ross on air graphics programs
Experience with live music performances
