    Material Verification and Control is looking for a highly skilled self-motivated Calibration Technician to support our team in Vergennes, Vermont. A Calibration Technician is responsible for the repair and calibration of test equipment. This position requires a strong knowledge of electronic circuitry and troubleshooting skills. This position requires daily interaction with peers, internal customers, and the desire to continuously learn.

    Compensation:

    • $2,500 Sign on Bonus*
    • Eligible for Annual Increases

    1st Shift Schedule:

    • This position is for 1st shift.
    • Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 3:30PM
    • Overtime available on a business need basis.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Must be able to read electrical schematics.
    • Work under minimal supervision, perform a variety of highly complex technical tasks which require a substantial understanding of engineering techniques and all technical objectives.
    • Utilize effective communication and provide technical recommendations for capital, expense, and service acquisitions.
    • Works from written documentation or verbal instruction
    • May assist engineers with design and development of new processes and or products.
    • Maintain a monthly workload of calibration and repair.
    • Meticulous and analytical individual in review of data, details, and records
    • Familiar with blueprints, specification in order to determine measurement instrument / equipment / machine tolerance limits.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Typically requires a HS diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 4 years of relevant experience is typically required
    • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required
