Business Application Delivery Manager manages a team of business application delivery programmers. Improves operational processes and supports critical business strategies by managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of applications systems. Trains programmers on standard methodologies, tools, and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables. The ideal candidate will be experienced and passionate about web application protection and global server load balancing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discussions to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications such as the creation of Statements of Work (SOW) and Bill of Materials (BOM) for clients.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) of FortiADC and FortiWeb solutions.
- Design, implement and transition load balancing and secure delivery of applications to meet the needs of customers.
- Troubleshoots LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, routing, switching, and firewalls including a broad range of devices (Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, etc.).
- Develop and maintain technical deliverables including network assessments, capacity planning, detailed design documents, implementation/test plans configuration templates and scripts.
- Engage in peer review sessions to aid fellow engineers in optimizing the quality of their deliverables.
- Perform root cause analysis of critical outage and incidents.
- Maintain up-to-date industry certifications.
