Branch Manager - Insurance manages the daily activities of the branch office, with duties such as insurance claim processing (home, auto, life, mortgage, etc.), marketing, auditing, loss prevention, and underwriting. Hires, trains, and monitors the performance of new insurance agents. Being a Branch Manager - Insurance provides updates to the regional manager regarding operating results, insurance trends, and competitor methods. May provide guidance on more complex issues. Additionally, Branch Manager - Insurance develops new business through selling and marketing activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to the regional manager. The Branch Manager - Insurance typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Since 1911 we have provided our clients with peace of mind. Glenwood Insurance Agency is looking for a full-time Commercial Insurance Account Manager. Responsibilities
- Serves as the day to day contact for all client requests within a book of business
- Develop and maintain key client and carrier relationships
- Provide outstanding customer service and teamwork
- Complete applications as required
- Receives quotes, reviews for accuracy, and desired terms, coverages, and pricing
- Manage account renewals; follow up with renewal underwriters
- Performs certificate of insurance requests, basic contract reviews, policy endorsements, and resolving coverage and premium discrepancies
