1. Lead the migration efforts of current legacy system to new modernized system at state support living centers. This includes comprehensive planning, data assessment, cleansing, and mapping to ensure compatibility with the new system. The Worker will document all phases of the migration process, engage with clinical and IT stakeholders for requirements gathering, and ensure clear communication throughout the Software Development Life Cycle. 2. Ensures that design complies with HHSC standards. This task also involves setting up validation and auditing processes to maintain data integrity post-migration. (10%)
3. Perform necessary testing of the migration process, including creating and executing Unit test scripts, managing test scenarios, analyzing test results, and debugging issues. Utilize established software development and testing standards to ensure the reliability and functionality of the new SaaS solution. (25%)
4. Provide regular updates on the migration progress to all project stakeholders including immediate managers, technical leads, developers, and business analysts. Use ticketing systems for information sharing and problem resolution. Prepare and deliver presentations and updates to both internal and external audiences to explain the migration process, system functionality, and technical challenges (15%)
5. Facilitate the smooth transition to the new system by providing strategic oversight and support post-migration. This includes training end-users, preparing comprehensive system documentation, and recommending strategies for optimizing system performance based on feedback and performance metrics. (10%)
