SALARY: $55,000 - $65,000 annually

Case managers focus on coordinating and advocating for services and work closely with therapists and mental health professionals and ensure clients receive the appropriate therapeutic interventions. Collaborate with the treatment team to develop treatment plans, monitor progress, and make referrals to therapy services when needed. Play a crucial role in facilitating access to therapy services by coordinating appointments, assisting with insurance, financial matters, and helping clients.
Embark operates facilities across the US that support adolescents, young adults and their family’s mental health and well-being by offering a full continuum of care from Long Term Residential and Wilderness Therapy environments to our IOP/PHP clinics to virtual outpatient care. Our local IOP & PHP clinics are a critical part of our strategy to increase access to life-saving mental health treatments for families with insurance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Experience working in education and behavioral health a preference.
2. Proficiency in assisting the administration of suicide screens such as C-SSRS.
3. Effective communication skills.
4. Ability to organize, prioritize and manage schedules and deadlines.
5. Ability to remain in control during stressful situations and facilitate conflict resolution.
6. Ability to be both firm and friendly and demonstrate appropriate boundaries with students.
7. Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
8. Attention to detail.
9. Team player.
10. Flexibility a must.
11. First Aid & CPR certified.
Education and Experience:
B.A. in Social Services field or combination of education and experience equal to a minimum of four years relative experience and training in youth services or mental health treatment. Master’s Degree in related field of study strongly preferred.
