We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join the RCLF team! PLEASE NOTE: This job is located at the RCLF office in Tupelo, Mississippi. It is not a remote/hybrid position. Qualified applicants must reside within reasonable commuting distance of Tupelo, Mississippi.

The Commercial Account Specialist plays a crucial role in the commercial loan department, assisting the Director of Lending with day-to-day operations in a highly efficient manner. Furthermore, the Commercial Account Specialist is responsible for overseeing commercial loan servicing, ensuring the effective processing and administration of loans, managing payment modification scenarios, and delivering top-notch customer service to clients.

Job Duties:

• Create and oversee relationships with both new and existing accounts.
• Responsible for the day-to-day aspects and management of commercial loans.
• Provide technical and coaching support to entrepreneurs, potential borrowers, and existing borrowers.
• Collects and categorizes data, information, and documents to prepare for processing.
• Assist the lending officers, business coaches, and corporate servicing departments in their daily activities.
• Contribute to customer retention by strengthening relationships through account management and maintenance.
• Serve customers through outreach, requests, complaints, and quality service.
• Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
• Utilize research and data collection skills to assess loan risks and develop plans and proposals.
• Carefully observe market trends and make necessary adjustments to the plan accordingly.
• Work collaboratively with other departments in the company whenever necessary.
• Maintain open communication within the commercial team to promote a positive atmosphere that fosters mutual respect.
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor to help develop new skills.

Requirements:

• High School diploma required; college credits earned, or college degree preferred.
• Loan servicing and/or banking experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; bilingual is a plus.
• Accurate data entry and typing skills.
• Ability to think independently and be a proactive problem solver.
• Familiarity with loan terminology, rights, and processes
• Account loan management preferred.
• Creative/outside-the-box thinker
• Problem solver
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office Suite
