Job Description:
As the Surf Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations. Your role includes managing staff, optimizing sales, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining the store's visual and operational standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Ensure that every customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining solid product knowledge, and all other aspects of customer service.
• Sales Management: Achieve sales goals and performance metrics through effective team management and implementation of retail strategies.
• Staff Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate staff to achieve store goals and provide exceptional customer service.
• Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels to ensure the store is well-stocked with the latest products while minimizing shrinkage.
• Visual Merchandising: Maintain store presentation standards and ensure merchandise is displayed attractively and effectively.
• Operational Efficiency: Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Retail Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Solid understanding of retail management best practices.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with retail management software (e.g., POS systems) is a plus.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
