Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Law typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Salary: $65,000 (9 months) Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate courses in Business Law and/or other courses as needed by the department. Teach a variety of courses including employment law, international business law, and ethical decision-making. Experience teaching in multiple modalities (online, day, evening) and have evidence of effective teaching at the university level. Required Education and Experience: Must have earned a Juris Doctor (JD) degree by August 2024. The candidate must have 18 graduate hours in every field in which they will teach. Preferred Education and Experience: Active Law License Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Quality performance will be expected in teaching and service.
