Annuity Services Director directs and oversees all aspects of the annuity customer service program. Provides leadership on the administration of annuity products including distribution, asset transfers, death claim approvals to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Being an Annuity Services Director maintains appropriate staffing to ensure high-level quality service and ensures hired staff has the education necessary and is provided the appropriate training to keep up-to-date on regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Annuity Services Director typically reports to top management. Typically requires passing Series 6 (IR) , 26 (IP), and 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law) qualifying exams. The Annuity Services Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     The Accenture Life Insurance and Annuity Platform (ALIP) is viewed as an industry leading platform by carriers and the industry analyst community. It enables digital modernization of new business and underwriting, policy administration, analytics and portal technologies into one flexible platform, speeding time to market, reducing operational costs and facilitating true multi-channel capabilities.

    Responsibilities:

    Meet and exceed sales targets including SaaS solutions, Cloud Hosting, IO/AO, and Professional Services within specified sales territory, geography and/or set of targeted accounts for the Accenture Life Insurance and Annuity Platform.

    Proactively manages software sales campaigns and closes opportunities using deep sales process and software offering or product expertise.

    Cultivates relationships ranging from C-Level to IT and business leaders to ensure growth of software revenue in complex transformational opportunities.

    Meets key clients and prospects within established accounts on a regular basis to build and nurture the relationship, as well as look out for further opportunities

    Comprehends and effectively communicates Accentures overall business strategies, offerings, and technology, how they relate to provide total client business value and how our software products align with these objectives

    Effectively teams with the Pre-Sales, Product Management, Professional Services and Engineering to bring the right resources to the sales effort to ensure a successful pursuit.

    Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25 to 50% depending on business need and client requirements

    What you need:

    • Bachelor s Degree or Experience Equivalent Minimum 2 3 years of working experience and knowledge of the Life and Annuity carrier home office operations
    • Minimum 2 3 years of ERP software sales or project management experience and a track record of exceeding sales goals
    • Minimum of 5 years working with technology modernization for the Life and Annuity Insurance Industry.

    Bonus Points if you have:

    • Deep knowledge of Life and Annuity insurance processing systems
    • Broad knowledge of the insurance technology competitive landscape and marketplace
    • Experienced in building and maintaining relationships with C suite executives CEO, CIO, COO, CAO, etc
    • Experience in the development and implementation of marketing strategies, campaigns and offers, and in the origination of new business.
    • Proven track record of executing complex sales opportunities

    Professional Skills Required:

    • Persuasive communication skills
    • Advanced negotiation skills
    • Self motivated, persistent and with a positive mental attitude

    Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below.
