Aircraft Painter jobs in New Hampshire

We are looking for a few good people to join our team. We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of painting experience, who possesses a strong work ethic and supports the crew by doing what needs to be done to get the job done right.

This is a permanent full-year position. Working mainly residential, interior, and exterior jobs in Manchester, NH, and surrounding towns.

Description: Under general supervision, apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect exterior and interior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings and structures on customer job sites.

Qualifications: Education/Certification: Valid driver’s license

Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to work independently. Willingness to learn

Experience: 2 years of experience

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Smooth and prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding and removing old paint.
• Fill nail holes, cracks, and joints with putty, plaster, or other filler.
• Paint surfaces, using brushes, or paint rollers
• Stain, seal, and varnish wood surfaces.
• Erect scaffolding or set up ladders to perform tasks above ground level.
• Occasionally pick up and deliver painting supplies to job sites; maintain delivery records.
• Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing, etc.
• Capable of receiving and following instructions and communicating with co-workers
• Attentive to detail and always alert to ensure safety

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Residential Painting: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 100% (Required)
