    This is an exciting opportunity for an experience lineman who is a bit of an adventurer, willing to travel to different work locations in Vermont but could include Utah and the Mid Atlantic Region, and has a desire to promote a culture of learning to other aerial linemen to grow teams as business responds to demand.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Experience as a telecom lineman and demonstrates use of associated equipment with a high degree of knowledge, skills, and ability.
    • Knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow industry safety standards to prevent accidents and injuries.
    • Develop and deliver comprehensive training on-site for aerial linemen, covering safety procedures, equipment operation, maintenance, and industry best practices.
    • Assess the skill levels of aerial linemen and provide personalized coaching and support to address areas for improvement.
    • Stay updated on industry advancements, regulations, and safety standards to incorporate into training materials and practices.
    • Foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement by safely operating and maintaining specialized tools and equipment used in aerial telecommunication work, such as bucket trucks, cable splicing tools, and testing devices.
    • Demonstrate leadership qualities and provide guidance to other team members including directing job tasks and holding team members accountable to safety practices.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Completion of aerial lineman school or equivalent skills-based certification program.
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a telecom aerial lineman, with expertise in aerial HFC Plant Architecture.
    • Strong understanding of telecommunications infrastructure, including aerial construction methods, equipment, and safety protocols.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
    • Willingness to travel extensively to different job sites, weekly, sometimes for extended periods, and adapt to varying work conditions and environments.
    • Certifications such as OSHA 10/30, CPR/First Aid, and Competent Climber/Rescuer highly desirable.
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
    • Able to successfully pass pre-employment and random drug screenings and physical as required for the role.
    • Must be able to obtain and hold a DOT medical card.
    • Ability to speak and read English fluently; Spanish as a second language is a plus but not required.
