Job Overview: As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of incoming payments and maintaining records of customer transactions. You will work closely with internal departments and external clients to resolve any outstanding payment issues and reconcile accounts receivable ledgers. Responsibilities:

• Generate and send out invoices to customers promptly and accurately.
• Process incoming payments in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies or billing issues in a timely manner.
• Communicate with customers to follow up on outstanding payments and resolve any inquiries or disputes.
• Prepare and maintain detailed records of customer transactions and account status.
• Collaborate with internal departments, including sales and customer service, to address customer payment concerns and facilitate resolution.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparation of accounts receivable aging reports and analysis.
• Support the Accounts Receivable Supervisor with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or certification in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable or related financial role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with collections or credit management is a plus.
