Job Summary:
Walker Automotive is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual for the position of Accounting Supervisor/Office Manager at our location in Alexandria, Louisiana. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry with a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $75,000 per year, paid biweekly. As the Accounting Supervisor/Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting and office management functions to ensure the financial stability and efficiency of our business operations.

- Oversee all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all financial reports, including monthly and annual statements
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify areas for cost saving and process improvement
- Manage cash flow and banking activities, including reconciliations and deposits
- Enforce financial policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulations and standards
- Supervise office staff and maintain a positive and productive work environment
- Manage office supplies, vendor relationships, and office equipment maintenance
- Coordinate with external tax accountants to ensure timely and accurate tax filing and reporting
- Provide support to the executive team on financial matters and contribute to strategic planning efforts
- Handle any other duties as assigned by the executive team
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the auto industry is a preferred
