OUR STORY:
We are a busy family with demanding jobs and an adult son with special needs. In addition to our jobs, we manage multiple rental properties as well as assist in the care of our aging parents. In our spare time, we love cooking, music, travel and visiting our adult daughter. Our two cats and an older Cocker Spaniel round out our family.
POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for an energetic, organized, and upbeat person to provide our busy family with executive support, property management support, household and basic business bookkeeping, and home office organization.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects.
- Desire to work in a busy household with a flexible can-do attitude.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to projects and tasks
- Advanced PC skills, including strong experience with Outlook, Excel, Word
- Ability to quickly assimilate various web-based and desktop tools.
- Associate’s Degree (minimum) or Bachelor Degree (preferable).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Bookkeeping for household and multiple small real estate management LLC’s
- Assist in hiring process and onboarding of household employees and caregivers
- Prepare weekly payroll for household employees and caregivers
- Electronic filing and scanning of documents and invoices
- Support family with email management.
- Assist with maintaining the family calendar, communicating scheduling issues and/or priorities, and rearranging appointments and tasks as necessary.
COMPENSATION
Competitive; depending on experience.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
