Not all social networks are the same. So while you only let a handful of your closest confidantes friend you on Facebook, that's going to work against you if you're trying to use LinkedIn as a job-hunting tool, according to David Fisher of Ajax Social Media. Instead of excluding fringe acquaintances on LinkedIn, Fisher advises to include as many of them as possible. In the end, this builds an even stronger online which will increase the odds of those people helping you get a job interview.
