Salary.com™ Announces the 2007 Release of Comprehensive Richmond Area Compensation and Benefits Survey

Waltham, MA, September 24, 2007 -- Salary.com, Inc. Covering a full spectrum of positions from Chief Financial Officer to Housekeeper, the compensation survey reports employee pay data for over 180 key jobs found in the greater Richmond area. The benefits report includes competitive data on employer practices regarding health and retirement benefits, leave programs and disability insurance.

Human resources departments from 107 organizations participated in the 2007 surveys, including some of Richmond's largest and most well known companies. Nearly one-half of the survey participants are privately owned while one-third are not-for-profit or government entities and approximately 18 percent of participants are publicly-traded companies. Participants represent a broad range of industries and range in size from 5 to 76,000 employees, with a median size of 230 employees.

The 2007 Compensation Survey report displays base pay and variable pay data for 183 benchmark jobs. The jobs are in the following key categories:
