about compensation, but that wasn't always the case. In 1999, Salary.com's CEO Kent
Plunkett had a vision for making compensation data accessible and building on-demand
software and tools to enable better, more informed discussions between employers
and employees about people, pay and performance. Salary.com was born out of a need
for individuals and employers alike to have equal access to previously shrouded
pay information. By creating compensation data, tools and software for employers
