New Hampshire Print and Mail, a family-owned local print and mail shop, is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team. As an integral part of our growing organization, you will be joining a company that continually invests in new systems, machinery, and, most importantly, our staff. This position provides a unique, end-to-end view of the customer lifecycle from order inception to billing. It is ideal for someone with previous bookkeeping experience who is looking to expand their role beyond typical day-to-day tasks and embrace a dynamic, multifaceted role within a collaborative, team-based environment.

In this role, you will perform essential accounts payable functions such as entering and paying bills and recording daily financial transactions into QuickBooks. You will maintain accurate financial records, support month and year-end close activities, and manage cash operations. Additional responsibilities include scanning checks for postage bank account deposits, reconciling operating accounts, and performing as a Postage/Production and Accounting Analyst. You will also oversee profitability and receivables reporting, ensuring prompt collection of receivables, and manage shop inventory and administrative supplies. Your role will extend to vendor contract and file management.

Beyond bookkeeping, you will perform estimating and related pricing for jobs, converting estimates into orders, requesting postage in advance from customers, and outsourcing to subcontractors as needed. You will coordinate with the Production Manager to set job schedules, print error-free work orders, obtain signoffs on proofs from customers, and provide updates throughout the production process. You will ensure complete and secure control over all customer records and company files, maintain compliance with company policies and procedures, and lead efforts to improve account profitability.
